While searching for a pair of shoes to fit one of our kid’s fast-growing feet, we recently had the opportunity to visit Plato’s Closet. Plato’s Closet is a national franchise, with 6 locally owned consignment stores in the Orlando area. We visited the one located at 2912 E. Colonial Drive in Orlando.
It was our first trip to a Plato’s closet and we were quite impressed. Not being sure what to expect, it was evident from our first step into the store that this was not your average used clothing store. Walking in the front doors, we were greeted with a friendly “hello” and a bright smile from behind the checkout counter, and we immediately noticed the huge collection and “up do date” styles.
We had come shopping for shoes, but each one of us in the family were quickly drawn to our respective racks looking for something in our size. You’ll find a hearty selection for both men and women of tops, jeans, shorts, t-shirts, shoes and accessories. Nearly everything was in style, and most items looked like the fashions you’d find currently on the racks at the mall.
Prices were fair and reasonable. You won’t find thrift store prices, but you can’t compare the selection to a thrift store either. At Plato’s Closet you’ll only find clean, name brand items in excellent condition on very well organized shelves and racks.
For high quality, hip clothes and accessories for teens and young adults, we think you should check out a Plato’s Closet near you!
