All category independent hotels offer their guests early entry to Universal Orlando Resort parks, free transportation to the parks, ability to pay their expenses and purchases within the entire complex using their room key card, free hotel delivery of all merchandise purchased at the complex, and appearances of Universal Orlando characters (minus the Adventure).
The Premier category offers some additional benefits such as free Universal Express Unlimited for Universal Studios Florida and Islands of Adventure and Priority Places in select restaurants within the complex.
Portofino Bay Hotel
One of our favorite hotels in Orlando, Portofino Bay Hotel impresses with its architecture inspired by the elegance and romanticism of Portofino in Italy. We have stayed at it several times and we love it. Portofino Bay has some family suites and one of the most popular is the Minions Suite.
It is a four-star Premier hotel that offers its guests early entry to The Wizard World of Harry Potter and Universal’s Volcano Bay one hour before opening! Also included in the daily rate is the Unlimited Universal Express Pass, which allows your guests to grab smaller lines at Universal Orlando Resort’s park attractions! It has three restaurants, bar, three theme pools, Jacuzzi, gym, sauna and spa.
Portofino Bay accepts pets, offers transfer service to the parks, free Wi-Fi and on-site parking, paid.

Royal Pacific Resort
The Royal Pacific is a wonderful four-star resort with a tropical climate. Surrounded by palm trees and a white sandy beach its pool is an invitation to relax! The room key acts as a pass for you to “pierce the line” of Universal Parks toys as often as you like with the Universal Express Pass. You can also enter The Wizard World of Harry Potter and Universal’s Volcano Bay an hour before they open.
The hotel has six restaurants, bar, gym, Jacuzzi, sauna, games room and resort kids camps. The rooms are spacious and the decor is modern and beach friendly! The Roya Pacific Royal has breakfast with the Minions on Saturday mornings and the Wantilan Luau, a buffet of Hawaiian food, dance and music, is held on Saturday nights. The hotel also accepts pets, offers free Wi-Fi and paid parking on site. It is possible to go by boat to the parks and City Walk.

Hard Rock Hotel
Following the theme of Hard Rock around the world, with memorabilia of rock idols, Hard Rock is a four star hotel located just 5 minutes walk from CityWalk. The decoration of the rooms is inspired by the best of rock and you can order a guitar in the room! Families can choose the “Future Rockstar” suite which has a separate room for the little ones and even a stage.
The hotel has a pool of over 1,000 square meters with underwater music, four restaurants, bar, jacuzzi, sauna, gym, night entertainment, children’s club and games room. On Sundays the hotel has a delicious Brunch at The Kitchen restaurant and in the lobby takes place the Velvet Sessions with live music.
As it is in the Premier category, it offers guests early entry to The Wizard World of Harry Potter and Universal’s Volcano Bay an hour before the opening and Universal Express Pass, the park’s pierced villa! It also offers free Wi-Fi and accepts pets.

Sapphire Falls Resort
Caribbean decoration is the theme of Sapphire Falls which has well-cared for landscaping with cascades that are an invitation to relax. The lobby is huge, airy and full of colorful sofas and has a light fixture as the centerpiece.
The decoration of the rooms follows the modern Caribbean style, in light colors and shades of blue. The water taxi takes you to Universal’s parks and your guests can enter The Wizard World of Harry Potter and Universal’s Volcano Bay an hour before opening.
The hotel has four restaurants, the Strong Water Tavern is a delight with Caribbean menu and many options of rum and Amatista has options of breakfast, lunch and dinner. It also has a campfire area, a swimming pool which is one of the largest in the complex, sauna, gym and games room. Saphire Falls accepts pets, offers free Wi-Fi, but breakfast and parking are paid separately!

Aventura is the three star hotel that offers one of the best value for money as it is one of the most affordable in the network. It is located in front of Saphire Falls, which means you can enjoy the hotel’s restaurants in front and also the water taxi. All its facilities are super modern, and the hotel is brand new (it opened in August 2018)!
The decoration of its rooms is clean, an iPad controls everything in the room, from the bedside light and entrance to the TV channels. The location is excellent as it is very close to the parks and it is possible to take a water taxi from Saphire Falls. It has a swimming pool, jacuzzi, gym and games room. It offers free Wi-Fi, but parking is paid for! The hotel offers early entry to The Wizard World of Harry Potter and Universal’s Volcano Bay one hour before opening and transport to Universal Studios and Citywalk parks.
Bar 17 on the hotel’s terrace is a great place for a late afternoon drink enjoying one of the best views of Orlando and the parks of Universal Orlando Resort.

Bay Beach Resort
The Bay Beach Cabin is a three-star resort with architecture inspired by the 1950s and 1960s. The decoration not only of its rooms but of every hotel uses vibrant and cheerful colours. The pool has a lazy river and is huge! It offers free WiFi, public parking and transfer service to all Universal Orlando theme parks and CityWalk!
The resort has 4 restaurants and they deliver pizza to the rooms, bar, pool, jacuzzi, gym, games room and a super fun bowling alley. In addition, your guests can enter one hour before the opening of The Wizard World of Harry Potter and Universal’s Volcano Bay!

Endless Summer Resort
The Endless Summer is a three star resort that was recently opened, it has a vibe surfing ideal to enter the holiday mood, the rooms are all with beach theme and clean decoration with colorful details. It doesn’t have access to the parks by boat or on foot like the other resorts, but the bus transfer is free and it’s very close to the park, practically the same distance from Cabana Bay. The most interesting of this hotel are the two bedroom suites, which can accommodate families of up to 6 people.
The pool is shaped like a surfboard and the gym is huge. It has three restaurants, bar, game room, Universal Vacation Planning Center to plan your trip to the park, Universal Studios store and Starbucks. It offers free Wi-Fi and parking costs $15 for guests. The rooms start at $79 and since it is very new it is one of the best options for those who want to save and still stay in a nice place in Orlando.
